Ground Level Solutions, Inc. is a not-for-profit community-based energy service company incorporated in 1984 in Franklin County, Ohio, as the Ohio Weatherization Training Institute, Inc. In 2000, we changed our name to Ground Level Solutions, Inc. to reflect our emphasis on practical, household-by-household solutions to energy conservation, energy efficiency, and health and safety needs.
Since 1988, Ground Level Solutions has been involved in the inspection, weatherization, and quality assurance monitoring of more than 20,000 homes in Ohio through our involvement with programs such as the NiSource/Columbia Gas of Ohio WarmChoice® Program, the Ohio Electric Partnership Program, and the AEP gridSMARTCommunity Assistance Program. In 2003, Ground Level Solutions began providing energy conservation and health and safety services to households in Franklin and Richland Counties through the operation of the Ohio Development Service Agency administered Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP). GLS began providing HWAP services in Lorain County in 2016.
Beyond the weatherization services that we provide, we address safety, health, comfort, and affordability in every building we visit. We use a variety of state-of-the-art testing equipment to assess how safely and efficiently energy is used in your home.
